More than 70 residents of Ponchatoula, Louisiana participated in the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center, Enhancing Capacity Small Business Development Certification Program! The FREE Certification program was held at the Pard Park Branch- Ponchatoula Recreation Park in partnership with the Unity Christian Fellowship Church.
Courses included; Business Planning 101, Understanding Legal Structures, Credit Readiness, Breaking the Lending Code, and More! Training was provided by Mr. Will Campbell and Mr. Gerald Williams from the Southern University Ag Center.
The program is offered free of charge with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development through the Louisiana Office of Community Development.
