Please help us congratulate participants who completed the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center‘s Food and Farm Food Safety Certification Program! The program took place in partnership with the Mccomb- Veazey Neighborhood Coterie of Lafayette, Louisiana!
In this training program, the participants learned sanitation control, prevention of cross contamination, safety of water, contamination of food allergens, controlling time and temperature, and More! Community participants included small farmers and restaurant owners. Hands-on training was provided on the mobile educational and technology lab. The five-session training courses began February 3, 2020 and concluded with a Certification Ceremony on March 2, 2020 at the McComb-Veazey Community Center.
