The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is a U.S. government agency created in 1965 to support the housing market and homeownership. HUD does this by improving affordable homeownership opportunities, increasing safe and affordable rental options, reducing chronic homelessness, fighting housing discrimination by ensuring equal opportunity in the rental and purchase markets, and supporting vulnerable populations. HUD provides a variety of disaster resources and partner with Federal and state agencies to help implement disaster recovery assistance.

Southern University Agriculture Research and Extension Center

The SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small businesses and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.
