Joshua B. McDonald, MPA • IT Support Assistant/Graphic Publications

Joshua B. McDonald is a native of Albany, Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bethune-Cookman University in Political Science in 2012 and his Master of Public Administration MPA from Southern University and A&M College in 2018.

In 2019 he began employment with Southern University Cooperative Extension where he currently serves as the Field and Virtual Coordinator of the SNAP-Ed Program in the Nutrition, Health and Wellness Department. In this role, he also manages the social media platforms and social marketing campaigns for the SNAP-Ed program.

Joshua quickly became known for his diverse professional skills and being a whole-hearted team player. He provides technical support and graphic arts/illustration for the Enhancing Capacity Certification Programs Project. As program trainer, he provides soft skills assistance and instruction to participants of the Small Business Development Certification Program.

Joshua enjoys spending time with Harley, his dog and friend of ten years.
